Not sure where they're going in July but I understand The Duke of Cumberland was much enjoyed last month. They're real gadabouts - highlight of the month the Lunch Club.
Barbara from Leigh on Mendip WI, Ruth and Eileen went to Speakers Auditions at Westonzoyland - Moira joined them for the afternoon. Everyone auditioning had 15 minutes to give us an insight into their talks -all good speakers in their own way - some especially good we thought. Met Chris from Litton and Hinton Blewitt - later she emailed me copies of the speakers list because there were not enough available on the day. An unexpectedly huge crowd turned up (probably because of all this wet weather - but it turned out lovely and sunny there - typically as we spent the day inside) and Colette plus Westonzoyland WI (cakes and drinks) had organised a marvellously varied day for us.
Ruth, Angela and Eileen going to Auctioneers Supper at Frome soon (County Event) - should be good.
