Next meeting - Magic of Carnivals

Should be really interesting - evidently our speaker brings costumes as well!! Update later.

Stories attached to costumes and history of long carnival involvement. Members enjoyed learning about all of this. Had to do raffle early as he wanted to know if he'd won the chocolates for his wife - shame - sorry John - unfortunately a member won them. Interestingly once the raffle had been drawn the troups became restless and Ruth's great poem about Ollie the cria was the only thing that kept them hovering by the door!! Ah well that's a good lesson learnt - keep the raffle results right until the end - we should have known!!
