White Christmas at Bruton

5 members went to this Flower Arranging evening at Bruton (Kings School). It was foggy, but Sue drove us safely there and back. Thanks Sue.

When we got there, apart from signing in and buying raffle tickets, several of us had a go at the tombola. Amazingly, Ruth won 2 prizes and so did I and all for one go each (3 tickets for a £1). We wandered around the rest of the displays and then went up to the auditorium. Although we were almost at the back we had an excellent view of the stage.

The displays were marvellous and Kath won one of the arrangements (see above). Afterwards we had mulled wine and mince pies and met lots of people from other WIs!! An excellent evening - Ruth felt a poem coming on - so watch this space.
