Our Meeting Day is the third Thursday of the month at 7.45pm.

Venue: Binegar and Gurney Slade Village Hall.

Visitors are welcome - we also aim to have several 'open meetings' per year and family/friends are welcome to join us. We charge £3 per visit with a maximum of 3 visits per year for visitors which includes tea/biscuits. WI subscription this year is £31.50 which covers 11 meetings and 8 magazines by post.

Binegar Christmas Fayre

Sue and Iris ran the table for the WI. Sue had lots of her paintings for sale. They had proved very popular. Ann Jones was running a stall for the Bristol Childrens Hospice. Other members were running the stall for the Welcome Club and others raffle tables and Ruth was selling lovely cards (got one for a birthday next year). Members were also doing the refreshments (profits to Welcome Club). What it is to belong to several groups in the village - as many members do! It was much busier than usual due to the variety of stalls and I believe Father Christmas had to close - he ran out of gifts!! Don't know of any profits yet!!! Later - £50 profit and PR effort
