It was a hot afternoon
and with 500 visitors,
they were far too
busy to stop work.
Betty busy too
but avoiding camera!!
First open Sunday was
27th July - very hot.
2. Angela on her wayto the next job. There were
three gardens open in the
village but tea was served
here and the queue was
non-stop for hours.
Evidently they took
£850 - just on refreshments
no wonder they were busy
and the money went
to the church.
Aug 3rd was wet but almost as many people visited and they took £800+ on refreshments even tho' there was a power cut!!
