Good to see members again. Speaker certainly had the gift of the gab - some funny, some banal, some downright irritating. I think he had a mixed reception from members. Some of his scenes were very typical of 'the buses' and the fee went to a good cause which was gratifying. Good on him to spend evenings raising funds for charity - just perhaps talk a little less!!
Left earlier than usual as my lift arrived so unfortunately missed Ruth's poem.
