6 members met at the hall at 10.00am on 31st March. We set off for Masbury Ring and having walked around and admired the misty views we descended towards Masbury Woolworths. Carole and Betty carried on home BUT 4 of us went for coffee and cake in the cafe.
On our return journey via Binegar Bottom we followed a footpath to the far end of Bennetts Lane and then sauntered home along there. Much chatter ensued - also - did you know there was a sort of sanctuary there for horses, goats etc. - we chatted through the hedge to a girl working in the stables. We all learnt a lot about a huge variety of subjects and eventually got home around 2.00pm.
Dates have been suggested for future walks and and the venture seemed successful. (Ann has taken pictures for the scrap book). Kilmersdon has been suggested for a definite walk in the future. Books and cuttings of walks to be looked at for other ideas. (Betty to ring Caroline as we couldn't shut a gate properly).
