Our January Speaker , Martin Horler, - doesn't he look cool and he could play some great tunes on that horn. His talk was, 'The role of a Royal Mail Guard' - authentic uniform and many items to view.Ruth did a lovely poem in conclusion - we all enjoyed the evening it was good to see everyone. Evidently they had a lovely Christmas party - but the hall heating is proving insufficient this weather. Of course, we must remember to turn on 'all the heaters'!!!
Well, many of us need to learn a bit more about 'how the hall works' - the minute someone is away none of us have a clue about 'working things' - this will be remedied by the committee.
