Well, our replacement speaker was very amusing. A very slick 'chat' which was fairly long but interesting all the way through. We had news of our Australian link and some good photos which Doreen will look after for our archives. Short business info and after the tea break a few further items plus members collected names for next years committee - finishing with the raffle. No poem this month Ann and Ruth had been on a trip to Stratford on Avon and weren't home in time - however, spoke to Ruth this am and she has one lined up for November.
November meeting - AGM plus a cookery dem - mysterious info from Helen - we're all involved and it's NICE .... hmm ..... also a few items by the drama group - so a busy evening is planned. Drama Group going to rehearse in the hall before the meeting.
PS: New heating seems good and refurbished ceiling very smart!
